Drone Mapping, Modeling, and Photography

SPC Engineering is equipped to perform high-resolution aerial mapping and photography using its state-of-the-art sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, or drones) and photogrammetric software. Using drones in concert with GNSS receivers provides the ability to precisely map hundreds of acres or specific features (such as landslides, surface fault ruptures, and structural damage) within minutes, perform inspections in previously inaccessible locations, monitor progress of large construction projects, and create 3D models of buildings, lots, and slopes to as low as centimeter-level accuracy.

We fly our drones anywhere from ground-level to several hundred feet above ground to capture high-resolution images and video with our 20MP/4K camera. SPC Engineering personnel are licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and abide by the local regulations and FAA laws and guidelines.




GIS and Graphics

 
 
 

SPC provides capabilities of GIS and graphical services that aid our analysis and provide a visual representation of our opinions to clientele. The graphics are prepared either for design purposes or to convey our analyses in a clear manner  easily comprehensible to non-experts.
