Mr. Cox joined SPC in 1998 and has conducted investigations for new construction as well as forensic projects in hillside and urban developments. Studies extend from directing field investigations to identifying and analyzing foundation problems. His responsibilities include project management, supervising co-workers, planning of field investigations, data analysis, and report writing. Geotechnical experience includes foundation settlement analysis, soil heave, foundation engineering, slope stability analysis, landslide evaluation and remediation, design of various structural systems such as pile foundations and tieback systems for slope stabilization, concrete failure analysis and evaluations, and moisture intrusion studies.

Mr. Cox has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University at Fullerton and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University at Long Beach.

Mr. Cox is a Registered Civil Engineer with the State of California.
