Since its inception in 1990, SPC Geotechnical, Inc. has worked on over 3,000 projects of varying complexity and nature. These projects include site reconnaissance and evaluation, exploration, analyses, design, and in general, providing civil and geotechnical consultation. Technical services and capabilities are provided for the following sectors:

• New Construction

Geotechnical consultation is provided for residential, commercial and industrial developments, governmental facilities, schools, etc. The purpose of the consultation is to produce a final report to include recommendations for grading, foundation design, pavement design and other pertinent information necessary for site development.

• Forensic Engineering

Professionals at SPC Geotechnical, Inc. have been providing litigation support in construction defect cases for over 20 years. This includes expert witness testimony, preparation of trial exhibits, and support in civil and geotechnical engineering for various parties.

• Insurance Claims

Professionals at SPC Geotechnical, Inc., have been providing services to the insurance industry for over 20 years. Insurance claims are typically analyzed for cause and origin of damage. At the end of the investigation and evaluation, a comprehensive report is provided, from which the insurance carrier can make a policy decision.

• Property Evaluation/Real Estate Transactions

Professionals at SPC Geotechnical, Inc. have been providing consultation and property evaluation for single-family homes and parcels for over 20 years. The purpose of the evaluation is to enable the buyer to make an informed decision on the investment, and for the seller to have the property inspected by a professional prior to selling it. For property evaluation, our services can be provided either as verbal consultation or in a written report format, depending on the client's needs.
